BUENOS AIRES, 18 de Junio de 1991. VISTO la urgencia manifestada por la SUBSECRETARIA DE AGRICULTURA, GANADERIA Y PESCA para facilitar la importación de productos y subproductos porcinos. CONSIDERANDO: Que el nivel de exigencia higiénico-sanitaria a los establecimientos faenadores en particular y al estado de salud animal en general de parte de la COMUNIDAD ECONOMICA EUROPEA y los ESTADOS UNIDOS DE AMERICA son análogas y satisfactorias para las autoridades sanitarias de nuestro país procede el dictado de la presente. Que conforme las facultades conferidas del artículo 11 de la Ley 23.899 el suscripto es competente para actuar en consecuencia. Por ello, EL ADMINISTRADOR GENERAL DEL SERVICIO NACIONAL DE SANIDAD ANIMAL RESUELVE: ARTICULO 1°.- Autorízase la importación de cerdos faenados y/o subproductos que se hayan efectuado en establecimientos faenadores con habilitación vigente por parte de la COMUNIDAD ECONOMICA EUROPEA y los ESTADOS UNIDOS DE AMERICA y cuya monografía de proceso no sea violatoria del Decreto N° 4.238 del 19 de Julio de 1968. ARTICULO 2°.- Sin perjuicio de lo prescripto en el artículo anterior este Servicio Nacional inspeccionará en el término de TREINTA (30) días los establecimientos que efectivamente exporten a nuestro país. ARTICULO 3°.- Por razones epidemiológicas y con la finalidad de salvaguardar la sanidad de nuestras piaras, no podrá importarse ningún producto o subproducto porcino de los países que de acuerdo al informe actualizado de la OFICINA INTERNACIONAL DE EPIZOOTIAS registren enfermedades exóticas. ARTICULO 4°.- Quedarán acreditados con carácter transitorio los extremos requeridos por el artículo 1° y a los efectos de la autorización de importación la declaración jurada que efectuará el establecimiento importador, el cual deberá contar con habilitación de este Servicio Nacional.
