RESOLUCION N° 114/93 IASCAV
BUENOS AIRES, 28 de junio de 1993
VISTO el expediente N° 801/93 del registro del INSTITUTO ARGENTINO DE SANIDAD Y
CALIDAD VEGETAL, y
CONSIDERANDO:
Que el Decreto N° 2017 del 2 de febrero de 1957 impone la fijación anual de las fechas de
conclusión de cosechas y, en consecuencia, las de destrucción de rastrojos de algodón,
medida sanitaria contra la plaga de la “lagarta rosada” (Pectinophora gossypiella Saund).
Que las informaciones remitidas por las Delegaciones Agrícolas ubicadas en el ámbito
algodonero se basan en diversas apreciaciones para fundamentar las mismas.
Que dichas fechas se han establecido tomando en cuenta las infestaciones de la “lagarta
rosada” registrada en toda la zona algodonera y la presencia de la “broca” (Eutinobothrus
brasiliensis) de acuerdo a las observaciones efectuadas por las dependencias citadas.
Que se dan las condiciones para iniciar las tareas de destrucción y enterrado de los
rastrojos para un mejor control de dichas plagas.
Que el suscripto es competente para dictar la presente medida, atento la facultad que le
confiere el artículo 10, inciso ñ) por aplicación del artículo 11, inciso i) del Decreto N° 2266
del 29 de octubre de 1991, modificado por su similar N° 1172 del 10 de julio de 1992.

RESUELVE:
ARTICULO 1°.- Fíjanse las siguientes fechas para la finalización de las tareas de
destrucción de los rastrojos de algodón en el presente año agrícola para cada una de las
zonas que se indica:

ARTICULO 2°.- La destrucción de los rastrojos se efectuará mediante los métodos
conocidos, los que deberán ser seguidos por el enterrado inmediato a la mayor
profundidad posible, no permitiéndose la incineración de los mismos, con la sola
excepción de los cultivos muy afectados por la “broca del algodonero”.
ARTICULO 3°.- Pase a la Secretaría General, a sus efectos.
